Prereq: Admission to the Physical Therapy professional program and successful completion of all prior coursework in the Physical Therapy curriculum or consent of the instructor.
Functional Anatomy intends to teach students how to observe and analyze movement. This course will lay the foundation for the development of abilities to evaluate abnormalities in movements that contribute to or are the result of dysfunction. The functional anatomy and biomechanics of the neuromusculoskeletal system are taught on a regional basis in tandem with the material being covered in Gross Anatomy.
