Please wait at least two weeks after the semester ends to submit a dean's list petition. To qualify for the Dean’s List, you should have earned at least a 3.6 grade point average, taken at least 12 credit hours of graded (excluding pass/fail and audit) coursework and not currently have an “I” (incomplete) grade or a duplicate credit for a course during the semester.
Please confirm dean's list does not appear on your transcript before submitting a petition.
If you were not placed on the Dean’s List and you believe that you qualify, please follow these steps:
- If you are receiving AP duplicate credit, complete the AP removal form.
- Confirm any "I" (incomplete) grade from the semester now shows a letter grade (A, B, C, D, E, P, F).
- Once the AP removal form is completed and processed and I grades are cleared, submit this petition form.
NOTE: Students with a privacy flag on their record will not appear in any published dean's list.
Dean's list updates will not show on any published lists. They will only show on your transcripts.
The steps above must be completed in the first major semester (Fall, Spring) following the semester in question. Petitions for the fall dean's list must be submitted before the end of the next spring semester. Petitions for the spring dean's list must be submitted before the end of the next fall semester.
