Pre-Pharmacy

If you are planning to apply to the UK College of Pharmacy PharmD Professional Program, beginning in Exploratory Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences will allow you to complete your required course pre-requisites prior to application to the program. Required Courses

Students who plan to enter the UK College of Pharmacy PharmD Professional Program must complete a minimum of 70 semester credit hours of Pre-Pharmacy coursework. The program prerequisites, a list of required subjects, and Pre-Pharmacy advising information can be found on the UK College of Pharmacy’s Pre-Pharmacy Information page.

First-Year Schedule

The following are example first-year schedules for A&S exploratory students completing the pre-pharmacy requirements on full-time status. Your courses may be slightly different, based on placement testing and courses you've already taken through dual enrollment or Advanced Placement (AP).
