LIS690-207: Systems Librarianship - "Systems Librarians are responsible for handling the technical aspects of integrated library systems, library service platforms, discovery layers, content management systems, and other technologies that enable electronic access for patrons and allow library staff to manage that access. The Systems Librarianship course is a project based course with the goal of installing and deploying an open source content management system (Omeka) and an open source integrated library system. To achieve these ends, students who take this course will learn the Linux command line, virtual machine administration with Google Cloud, and revision control using Git and GitHub."
