I was born on a cold, dark winter night in a log cabin I built with my own two hands in the mythical lands of Harrodsburg, Kentucky.  Fast forward a couple years, and I'm now an Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences at UK!  My prior professional experience includes being an Enrollment Advisor at NorthWest Arkansas Community College, a mentor and tutor at Eastern Kentucky University, and a brief stint as a high school teacher.

My advising philosophy can be summed up with the following phrase: "I'm your momma now."  This means any student can come to me with not only questions about majors and classes and stuff, but anything they would normally bring to their momma or momma figure (and even some things you might not).  I am here for you, and if I don't know the answer to one of your questions I'll find it out or point you in the direction of someone who does.  Just give me a holler if you need anything!

Outside of work, I enjoy all sorts of indoor activities including reading, playing video games/board games/Dungeons and Dragons, cooking, watching horrible movies, and spending time with my many cats.
