Megan Koshurba
Academic Advisor II

Hey Wildcats! I attended West Virginia University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Geography, before earning my Master of Education degree from the University of Kentucky. During my time at WVU, I played D1 volleyball, I studied abroad for one academic year at the University of Cardiff where I studied Archeology, played on the Welsh National Volleyball Team, and visited 23 countries along the way.  After 8 years as a high school Special Education teacher in Maryland, my husband and I moved to the great city of Lexington where we've called home for 12 years! I have extensive background in working with international students and have a passion for helping students who want to study abroad!

Outside of the office, I love exploring the outdoors with my husband and dog, Maatta, who is a 5 year old chocolate Labrador. If it has anything to do with sports or fitness, I'm in! I also run a quilting business in my spare time and have even made quilts for celebrities!  I look forward to meeting you on campus and helping you on your academic journey!
