March Toward Inclusion: Family & Community Diversity Lunch & Learn

Come celebrate Family & Community Diversity Week with us!

The College of A&S Office of Inclusive Excellence, in partnership with Appalachian Studies and the Appalachian Center, will hold a Lunch & Learn event where students can engage in informative activities focused on family & community diversity and receive UK swag while enjoying a free catered lunch! The Lunch and Learns are open to all A&S graduates and undergraduates, but do have a maximum capacity for student participants--so be sure to RSVP using the QR code or link below.

Come celebrate Family & Community Diversity Week with us!

The College of A&S Office of Inclusive Excellence, in partnership with Appalachian Studies and the Appalachian Center, will hold a tabling event where students can pick up FREE swag, participate in the featured department's diversity activity, and sign-up for the corresponding Lunch and Learn event taught by a UK faculty member.

6th Annual UK Graduate Appalachian Research Community Symposium & Arts Showcase

This is the 6th Annual GARC Symposium and Art Showcase. Graduates students with research and/or artistic interests in Appalachia are encouraged to submit proposals via the website.  This is an opportunity for students to present their work on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the W. T. Young Library, Room B108-C on UK's Campus.  This event is planned by members of GARC (Graduate Appalachian Research Community), with support from the UK Appalachian Center.  The times listed above are tentative for the event, and this page will be updated continually.  Please, see the GARC page on this website for more information, the Call for Participation, and to submit your proposal: https://appalachiancenter.as.uky.edu/graduate-appalachian-research-community.  The deadline for porposals is February 15, 2015.
