On April 3, the University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences recognized about 1,400 current students who earned a place on the Dean’s List for their academic achievements.
Congratulations to those who earned a placed on the Fall 2014 Dean’s List in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky. This honor is reserved for high-achieving students who earn at least a 3.6 grade point average during the semester.
A reception for Dean’s List recipients will be held Friday, April 3, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Frank H. Harris Grand Ballroom, located on the 3rd floor of the Student Center.
Faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences and families from around Kentucky gathered Friday, September 26, to celebrate students who excelled in their studies. Five GWS majors made the Dean’s List and were honored at the reception.
The University of Kentucky's Chelsea Oswald, biology graduate, has added to her already impressive collection of awards both on and off the track, as she has been named Southeastern Conference Track and Field Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Each semester, the College of Arts and Sciences honors its students which have made the Dean’s List. This semester, we talked with some of the honored students about their experiences at UK and how UK and a liberal arts education have helped them in their career goals. Their varying majors, academic experiences, and plans for after college showcased the diversity of opportunities within the College of Arts and Sciences.
